Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by BK Safetywear and bksafetywear.co.uk being trade names of BK Safety & Workwear Limited (herein known as The Company) of Unit 3 Riverside House, Riverside Road, Barnstaple, Devon, EX31 1LS ("we" and "us") to the customer ("you") these constitute the entire and only agreement between us in relation thereto. All orders placed are subject to acceptance by delivery of the goods to you at which point a legally binding contract is constituted between us on these Terms and Conditions.
All credit cards are accepted in accordance with our internet payment processing company,
BACS - Bank Transfer
All transactions are in pounds sterling.
Paypal payments are accepted
All shipping and transported items require a signature as proof of delivery, if you are unable to supply a delivery address where someone is available to sign a delivery receipt for your order, then please nominate another delivery address where someone is available to sign. It should be noted that if a courier is not be able to deliver on their arrival a collection note will be left and you will be required to make your own arrangements to pick up your consignment.
We are very happy to deliver outside Mainland UK but delivery costs will be quoted upon receipt of order.

In most cases the standard service on orders received prior to 4:00pm for delivery to addresses in Mainland UK is that the goods will be Shipped within 2-3 Days (working Days).
Most deliveries are undertaken by one of our courier companies or Royal Mail. As soon as the goods are dispatched we will supply you with your track and trace dispatch number and the carriers website address. This will enable you to track the whereabouts of your delivery using the track and trace facility on our nominated carriers website. Alternatively you can contact us.

Exporting goods between the UK and EU, all items that are made in the UK and EU are free of duty unless stated by the local country of entry.
Item/s originating from countries outside the EU will be subject to the EU duty tariff for imported goods not manufactured in the EU.
Import Duties and Taxes All duties/taxes are for the account of the consignee and are payable to the courier/transport company and/or their customs agent in the country of entry. We suggest all clients should contact their local customs office to verify the rate of duty/tax payable before making your purchase.
We as a company or our appointed agents will not accept responsibility for any duties and/or taxes levied against an item/s purchased from our website.
Any order/parcel returned to us by the courier/transport company due to the non-payment of duties and/or taxes by the consignee, will be subject to the companies right to withhold any additional charges made to the company by their courier/transport company, and will be withheld against any refund/s that may be issued on the return of the order/parcel.
Pre-ordering and Back Orders
Where a client adds an out of stock item to there order this will be considered a back order, should the restock date be more than 30days from the date of order, we will automatically refund the out of stock item without notice. where an item is due to restock before 30days from order date a notification email will be sent offering the option to cancel or change item.
Clients who wish to issue purchase orders and pre-order items will be notified and updated accordingly when we have updated information.
- All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT except for VAT exempt items.
- The Vat element is clearly detailed on the The Company invoice.
- Please note that the prices shown are the Companies prices which may differ from time to time.
The Company takes great care to ensure that all the products featured on this website are of a high quality and in most cases have been tested by our quality control department
Contract Information and Governing Law
A Contract is formed between you and The Company only when you have received confirmation that your order has been accepted and you are notified of the order number on the screen and by E-Mail.
For the avoidance of doubt the Contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and you and The Company will agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Every effort has been made to provide you with the most accurate information and imagery possible on our products. However due to the way different technology displays graphics and the translation of some colours to a digital file, they may not always be a perfect match with the actual garment. Please contact us if you require a colour swatch.

Your complaint will be treated fairly, confidentially and with respect.
The Company will:
- respond to your E-Mail within 1 working day and issue a reference number for future correspondence.
- endeavour to resolve the complaint within four working days.
- contact you on the said date if the complaint has not been resolved to issue you with a name of a contact and telephone number of a higher authority at The Company.
- contact you to apologise and provide reassurance that The Company will do all it can to prevent the problem from occurring again.
Collection in Person
You can collect pre-ordered and paid only for goods by arrangement only from our Romford (Essex) Branch. All goods must be pre ordered via website or telephone ordering
Just add the items to the basket then Click on select Your Country Scroll down to collect in store Romford Essex, then Click on Update Shopping List, this will delete any shipping charges originally shown, Click Checkout we will send you a normal dispatch email notifying you that the goods are available for collection and giving you details of how to collect etc. Please do not proceed to collection point without prior authorisation or notification email.
Goods cannot be purchased at the collection point as it will not be our warehouse address, and the collection point will not hold all items sold on the website or hold credit card payment terminals.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
Items not required
At BKsafetywear we aim to provide you with as much information as we can about each product so that you can make an informed purchasing decision. However, to give you additional confidence, we will allow you to return any item if it is not what you require within 14 days of receipt as long as it has not been used and is returned in its original undamaged packaging smoke and pet hair free. The cost of returning goods will be the responsibility of the customer, except when the circumstances where goods have been wrongly sent by the company. Please note a 10% re packing and service charge will be levied on items returned in a bad state and not as they where originally shipped.
All you need to do is to email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will issue you with a Returns Code, and explain our simple returns procedures and discuss with you the easiest and most convenient way for you to return the item(s) to us. You should then return the item(s) to us by the agreed method together with a completed Goods Return Form which will have been sent to you upon your request.
Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the item(s) subject to them being unused and in their original condition and packaging, this includes smoke and pet hair free. Where an item formed/s part of a discount within the original order value and the returned item is not replaced, the discount value will be removed, and the value/s subsequently reversed and deducted from the refunded amount. Example: if you buy five, twenty or fifty items and receive a 5%,7.5% or 10% discount, by returning one of the items that makes the total number of items fall below the discount level, the price for the items retained will revert to the next level below.
Garments that have being printed and/or embroidered to order or changed to your specification cannot be returned.
Refunds will only be credited to the original payment card, or in cases where payment has been made directly by bank transfer, then a credit will be issued followed by immediate payment to the bank account previously advised by the customer
Faulty, Incorrectly Supplied and Damaged Items
If an item has been incorrectly supplied, received damaged or is faulty then all you need to do is follow the Returns Procedures detailed above. We will then arrange postage of the item(s) free of charge.Returns address
Upon receipt of the item(s) we will refund the full value of the goods and any carriage costs. unless the customer wishes to continue with the sale then goods will be replaced upon instruction.
